Corowa Library is excited to welcome Pauline Wilson for an author talk.

Pauline is a writer and family historian who loves research. Pauline writes historical fiction inspired by the true stories of her ancestors.

Pauline released her debut novel, Conflict at Hanging Rock in July 2022.

Her latest book, Breaking Free was inspired by her great grandmother’s story of incarceration in Kew Lunatic Assylum as a teenager in 1894.

Breaking Free, is an emotional and powerful historical fiction novel which exposes the abuses and mistreatment that were all too common in mental institutions in the late 1800s.

Afternoon tea will be provided.
