Drowning by TJ Newman

Drowning is about Flight 1421 which crashes into the Pacific Ocean shortly after take-off. The plane sinks to the bottom with a handful of survivors in it, trapped with air dwindling by the hour. With the whole world watching, rescue teams above the surface have got to come up with a solution before it’s too late.

This might just be one of my favourite reads of the year!

Drowning grabs you by the arm from the beginning of the book and doesn’t let go until you turn the last page. With point of views from the main characters in the plane and crew above, you can feel the story build from all angles and feel the desperation. That coupled with the extensive research the author did for the book and his background as a flight attendant, you really step right into the story.

I suggest if you’re looking for a nail biting, page turner that will have you holding your breath, give this book a go.
