Amelia Tonta Book Week Author Visit

Amelia Tonta is an internationally published picture book author who writes funny books for kids.

Previously published as Amelia McInerney, Amelia’s first picture book, The Book Chook, was a CBCA Notable Book 2020 and was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia Picture Book of the Year.

Her subsequent titles include: Bad Crab, My Bird Bertie, Mary Had a Little Lamb: What Really Happened, Who Fed Zed? Neil the Amazing Sea Cucumber and Jeff Giraffe- The Great Escape. 

Amelia has three kids, two chickens and a cheeky dog called George.

Amelia will be visiting Junee Library for Book Week 2025 on Monday 11 August at 1:00pm and local schools have been invited to attend.
