Woman Missing by Sherryl Clark

Set in Melbourne, this is a fast-paced crime thriller that will keep you guessing.

The main character, Lou Alcott is starting over as a Private Investigator, after being forced to resign from the police force. Lou’s life is complicated by her father who is still in the police force and her grandfather Hamish, one of Melbourne’s biggest crime bosses.

On her first day Lou is given two cases, one is a missing mother and the other is a security check on a woman who is being stalked by her ex. As Lou investigates the two cases, she uncovers something far more sinister than she could have imagined. With cat and mouse chases, and threats on Lou’s safety, you will start to wonder: will Lou’s first case be her last?

I really enjoyed this book. The threads of each story intertwine together perfectly.

If you like crime novels that are fast paced, with lots of twists, this book is for you.
