Art @ the Library – Ruth Emerson

Tumut Library

In December and January, Art @ the Library features work by Ruth Emerson.

Ruth studied art for four years after finishing her HSC.

She then became an art teacher and started exhibiting work, including exhibiting with Sue McDonald in Tumut for a number of years.

After a break from painting, Ruth fulfilled a promise she made to her late husband to start painting again.

Ruth’s paintings are inspired by her garden, her animals and her farm.

Entry is free.

Bookings are not required.

Tumut Library is supporting local artists by providing a free exhibition space.

Interested artists must be residents of Snowy Valleys Council and artworks may be for sale.
