Indigenous sky stories
Artist Yenny Huber and animator Tim Amio have worked with Wiradjuri Elders to create a digital projection that tells two indigenous sky stories. To see them, simply visit Wollundry lagoon after dusk, and witness these spectacular visual creations projected on to the side of the Civic Centre.

Kitchen science storytime
Wednesday 16 August and Friday 18 August – 10.30am-11.30am
For inquisitive preschoolers, Kitchen Science Storytime will be conducted in the Children’s Area of the Wagga Wagga City Library.

My place in space stargazing
Thursday 17 August – 6.00pm-8.30pm
Gaze at the Moon, Saturn and other heavenly wonders, assisted by Michael Maher from the Wagga Wagga Observatory and other astronomy enthusiasts.

Starr’s planetarium
Thursday 17 August – 5.30pm, 6.00pm, 6.30pm, 7.00pm
 A 3D immersive projection system that provides a theatre setting for 360° 3D digital images with surround sound that is totally interactive.

Fishing under the moon
Thursday 17 August-Friday 18 August – 9.00am-3.00pm
Fishing Under the Moon is a community engagement project woven around Indigenous hunter-gatherer practices that utilized astronomical indicators such as fish feeding around the moon cycles. E3 Art Space.

Saturday 19 August – 10.30am-12.30pm
Join microscopist John Harper from Charles Sturt University and students from the Faculty of Science to discover everyday things that you can’t see without a microscope! Downstairs Wagga Wagga City Library

The science of flight
Saturday 19 August – 9.00am-3.30pm
Jump on the “Science Bus” with us to travel to Temora and watch the Temora Aviation Museum Showcase Flying Day. Meet at Cross Street Carpark.

Fermentation workshop
Sunday 20 August – 1.00pm-2.30pm
Learn the science of fermentation, and how to create simple and delicious fermented foods. Museum of the Riverina, Botanic Gardens.
